Members of our lab are working in collaboration with a team of scholars assembled by UC Berkeley’s Cannabis Research Center on a funded project called “Cannabis in Consolidation?: Examining Anti-Competitive Practices, Financial Networks and Policies that Protect Equitable Competition in California’s Market.” From 2024-2026 we will be conducting an ethnographic investigation of investor dynamics in the industry.
